Chad Youngblood

With 25 years of creative, branding and advertising experience, Chad Youngblood brings the experience of a top level Creative Marketing Officer to the small businesses he is passionate about helping grow.

After holding senior creative positions in Los Angeles and San Francisco, including stops at ABC, NBC and Disney, Chad moved his family to Knoxville, Tennessee and spent 8 years leading multi-million dollar marketing and creative initiatives at HGTV, America’s most loved and successful home brand.

During his time at HGTV, Chad led two major overhauls of the network’s brand, positioning, social media and marketing strategies. Based on the success of these initiatives, Chad was tapped by parent company Scripps Networks Interactive to rescue the ailing Fine Living Network as its Senior Vice President and General Manager. After 5 years at FLN, Scripps Networks Interactive asked Chad to assume management responsibility of the Do-It-Yourself Network (DIY) as its General Manager.

In 2008, Chad was honored by The Cable Center as one of its first “Mavericks” an honor he shares with Ted Turner. He has been recognized by “MultiChannel News” as one of “40 under 40” to watch, served as a guest lecturer for post-graduate media classes at UCLA, Columbia and Michigan State University, and has received dozens of national awards for his creative work.
